Position Description:   Utility Team Member
Reports to:   Director of BOH Operations/BOH Ops Managers
Basic Function
The Utility Team Member role at Chick-fil-A is to ensure that the restaurant is able to perform its core functions by ensuring all of the facility and equipment are maintained and cleaned on a scheduled basis.  This team member will also work closely with the facility manager to ensure all preventative maintenance is up to date.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintaining the highest level of cleanliness in the facility
  • Ensures that all daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks are completed properly
  • Clean dishes and smallwares on a regular basis throughout the day
  • Assist with any maintenance needs as is able
Other Responsibilities
  • Be efficient in all areas of BOH operation of the store and be willing to jump into any role when necessary
  • Learn continually by pursuing personal development, a better understanding of the business, and strong relationships inside and outside of Chick-fil-A
  • Know and Live out the Mission, Values, and Purpose for both our store and Chick-fil-A, Inc.
  • Complete any team member evaluations on time as assigned.
  • Any other duties as assigned

Must possess a positive, can-do attitude, be detail oriented, and possess a basic knowledge of the food service and/or hospitality industry. Willing to engage actively in the physical work of a high quality food service operation.
